The Lib Dems were close to gaining another seat in Burnley this Thursday.
The result in Rosehill with Burnley Wood ward byelection was:
Lab 372 (39.4% - up 8.5)
Lib Dem 363 (38.4% - up 9.9)
Con 123 (13.0% - down 18.6)
Green 87 (9.2% - up 0.2)
Commiserations to Russel Neal and the local team on what was so close to being a gain from third place.
