Join Our North West Team for 2023

The Lib Dem North West Region stretches from Crewe to Carlisle. It covers the areas of Cheshire, Cumbria, Merseyside, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

As a democratic, membership party our work is led by an executive made up of volunteers leading the party across 75 constitiencies. Our Annual General Meeting, held at Conference, elects that executive for the coming year taking up office from January 1st.

Nominations are now open, and will close on 22 October, for elections to the following positions in the North West Region.

- Regional President (2 year term; all others are 1 year)

- Regional Officers (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer)

- Regional Vice Chairs (Candidates, Campaigns, Conferences, Membership Diversity & Inclusion, Policy, Standards & Practice)

- Ordinary Members of the Regional Executive (32 including 24 reserved places for county areas in proportion to membership)

- Representatives to English Council for the North West (11 places anticipated)

- Regional Candidates Committee (4 elected places)
