Each Autumn Conference we remember the North West Liberal firebrands that were Viv Bingham and Tony Greaves with a Memorial lecture. We invite different speakers each time to talk about their principles of Liberalism - usually people who were their contemporaries.
Bernard Greaves, one of the authors of A Liberal Theory & Practice of Community Politics which transformed Liberal campaigning in the 1970s, joined us to give a lecture looking at how we bring economics back to the people.
