Two Weeks To Register
If you are not registered but want to be able to vote in the upcoming May council elections you have just two weeks to get yourself on the electoral roll.
You only need to register once – you don’t need to register separately for every election – but you must register again if you’ve changed address, name or nationality.
The gov.uk site offers a simple voter registration process, here, which you can also use to:
- change the way you vote – for example in person, by post or by proxy
- move on or off the open register
Registering to vote makes sure you can make your voice heard on polling day and only takes about 5 minutes. Sort it out today!
